Mobile Amateur Radio Awards Club

The Mobile Amateur Radio Awards Club (MARAC) is an organization of independent county
hunters working together to develop fellowship and friendship as they work toward their
goal. MARAC does not sponsor, provide Net controls, or act as a governing body for any
county hunting nets. It does sponsor many awards which reconize the achievements of
county hunters. They sponsor an annual National convention and a number of mini conventions
located around the country.
A complete discussion of the county hunting, its
net procedures, and practical suggestions can be obtained from the MARAC Secretary, Jerry Mertz, W0GXQ,
P.O. Box 758, Park Rapids, MN 56470-0758. His telephone number is (218) 252-6848, and his
email address is w0gxq@unitelc.com. European stations can get the packet from Eddie Scholes, 19 Castle Hill
Newton-Le-Willows, Merseyside, England WA12 0DU.
