ND9M - Jim - 1* - 1-31-10 to 2-25-10 - SSB and CW
If you're interested in working some 6M counties for the Top List County Challenge, I've got a bunch to give you if the propagation gods decide to give us a shot.

My XYL and I are currently (31Jan) in the Denver area and will be heading south (04Feb) through NM and then throughout TX activating grid squares on the LEO satellites. So far I've activated 28 grid squares on the birds just getting to CO during this trip.

I'll be on in eastern NM and from every grid in Texas except for DL61 in the extreme western corner. Overall, I'll be on from at least 86 different grid squares. (For the Fred Fish Award chasers, yes, I'll even be on from rare DL88 at Big Bend where we'll be camping for a few days.)

I've got 6M with me although I'm not actively listening. If you hear a band opening to 0- or 5-land and want to see if we can score some VHF county contacts, give me a call at 850.960.8566. I'll fire up the 6M rig and get on 50.125 or another 6M freq of your choosing.

WV2B - Duane - 2* - 02/07/2010 to 02/08/2010 - SSB Only
Will leave early AM from Sullivan, PA. Will head South and connect with I-81, and I-77 to Charlotte, NC PM of 02/07. 02/08 will proceed South to Orlando, FL. Will do 40 SSB, and if I can get a 20 hamstick going on a mag mount will do 20 SSB as well. May be willing to divert to a county not too far from the interstate for a last county or last 50 for WBOW for a particular award, if contacted in advance and we plan on it. Otherwise interstate counties only once we get on 81. Will have others with me, so will turn down radio after runs, so work me while I'm running. I will try to do a few counties on 40CW when we are stopped for breaks, etc. I cannot run CW on the fly, but if you need something for LC or last 50, etc. let me know and I'll see what I can do.

On the return trip we plan to follow the same general plan, but will attempt to put out selected counties on 30M CW as a TEAM. We will follow a similar format as a TEAM would putting out a county on SSB, but using CW abbreviations. Please be patient with us as we try this experiment and recognize that we both can send much faster than we can copy. For special requests you can email them before we depart or call Sharon's cell phone while on the trip. Her cell number is 303-204-8278. As usual, WX and other factors may require changes in our plan. MATT & SHARON
