ND9M - Jim - 1* - 1 July to 4 July - SSB and CW
I'll be mobile running counties in North Carolina on CW and SSB as part of the Original 13 Colonies special event. During the 1-4 July time frame, I'll be signing the special call K2T and my regular home call outside those days. I will also activate the K2T callsign on the low earth orbit (LEO) satellites AO51, AO27, and SO50.

Event and certificate information on the Original 13 Colonies special event can be found at http://home.comcast.net/~dzabawa/Thirteen Colonies.htm. Contacts with me as K2T will count for North Carolina towards the event certificate. If you need a confirmation for one or more counties, pse QSL direct to my home call, ND9M.

The 20, 30, and 40M net freqs will be used, and I'll also be on (or close to) 7033, 7213, 14033, and 14213. I don't have a specific route or sequenced list of counties planned yet, but I will begin with running the western counties and work eastward. As there are 100 counties in the state, the time period for K2T will certainly run out, but if I have enough time to stay away from home, I'll keep running until all 100 counties have been run and put out what I can in SC as well on the way home.

Contacts with either my home call or K2T are good for Bingo (one star).

I'll have the cell phone (850.960.8566) at all times where signal is available and e-mail when I stop for the night.

NX4W - Lloyd - 2* - July 4th to July 8th - SSB and Data - ECC accepted

On July 4th I will be heading to the convention along this route. I plan to run on 20, 40 and 80 meters SSB No CW  on the move most of the time and I plan to run PSK31 mostly on the county lines. I will start on 10.139, then go to 7.072 and finally 14.072. Look for me slightly down in freq if those are too busy. I may not be spotted on all the bands but this is what I will do regardless unless I cannot resonate at those frequencies. I had no problem on my last trip to southern Florida, so I think I should be ok. I have a new toy to play with and you can either call me, send me a text message or a regular email on my Blackberry Curv. I will try to put out the first line on PSK31 around 1400 zulu each day. The first day I will not put out PSK31 until the line of Lowndes/Cook, Ga unless anyone notifies me in advance that they need any of the counties on PSK31 in Florida.

Heading to the national. There will be a lot of mobiles on the road. If you hear me working another mobile, and you need the county I'm in, please take me off frequency and run me in that county. Will have 20, 40, 80 SSB and 10, 15, 17, 20, 30, 40, 80 CW. Not to much CW going but will honor request for CW, on the way back. I'll have more time on the way back. Will be running lower WV, eastern KY, Eastern IN, western OH, up into MI. On the way back, I will be running WI, IL, some IN, and then maybe my truck will wonder around a bit. E-mail me with request and I will see what I can do. I will be checking the needs list. Good luck, Scottie

Trip to National. I will be out late a couple days and starting early others, but I have indicated where I need contacts and have planned to be in them at decent hours (1200Z-0000Z).

I will have all bands available, but mostly I will run 20/40 or 40/75 depending upon conditions. 75 Meters will be at 3.901 for both SSB and CW. As always, call or text 865-405-6933 if you me on any particular band/mode and I will do all I can to switch bands.

I will only be in counties marked with (parentheses) for a short time, so if you need one of these be sure to call/text before I get there- otherwises it will likely be one contact and go.

NX4W - Lloyd - 2* - July 12th to July 17th - SSB and Data - ECC accepted

On July 12th I will be heading back home from the convention.
